Agence Européenne de Traduction applies the AFNOR PR NF ISO 20771 and NF EN ISO 17100 standards dedicated to translation services:
- The ISO 20771:2020 is an international standard specific to legal and judicial translations that relates to the competences and qualifications of court‑appointed translators, proof‑readers and reviewers, as well as best practices and processes having a direct impact on the quality of the legal translation. The use of output from a machine translation, even with post‑editing, is outside the scope of the ISO 20771:2020 standard, likewise for the ISO 17100:2015 standard.
- The ISO 17100:2015 is a precisely defined international standard for the translation sector. It sets out the requirements regarding core processes, resources and other aspects necessary for providing a high‑quality translation service.
Our goal is to provide you with the best quality translations. In order to optimize the quality and rapidity of our services, all our processes are described in a quality manual intended for our clients, employees and translators.
This document enables the progress of a translation to be monitored and thus ensure that our quality commitments are maintained at each stage. Each stage is precisely defined and clearly assigned.
From the quote to the delivery of the translation and its invoicing, we are able to provide you with a progress report of your file at any given time.
This document also allows us to guarantee confidentiality.
